A few weeks ago, I had many questions in my mind when I was praying to God during my devotional time. Questions like, "Why am I here in London? Why am I here in this house living with two strangers? Why is this happening to me? What is the purpose for me to be here in this place?...." Then I heard His still small voice, His gentle whisper...

Father's heart God teaches us to trust Him in difficult circumstances.
He teaches us to find strength in Him when we feel helpless.
He teaches us to love by placing us around people. They could be irritating, imperfect, frustrating people.
He teaches us to have compassion for people by putting those who are in need around us.
He teaches us to forgive when others hurt us.
He teaches us to find grace and mercy in Him in our weakness.
He teaches us to be patient by answering our prayers in His timing.
God's ultimate goal for our lives on earth is Christ likeness, character development.
He teaches us to be righteous by allowing trials in our lives.
He teaches us to find freedom in Jesus by working on our weakness.
Above all, He loves us.

Philippians 1:6I am sure that God who began the good work within you will keep right on helping you grow in his grace until his task within you finally finished on that day when Jesus Christ returns.
